I love how this monitor doesn't have the V shaped stand. So many gaming monitors nowadays have it and not only do they take up more space on the desk, I also prefer the look of this monitor's stand compared to the V shaped ones.
Optimum could you please review the Hyperx armada 25 , its going for only 150 dollars on microcenter its 1080p 240hz , has an included monitor arm and also has been used in VCT masters madrid
i watch YouTube in 30f, from my phone. when i see people show their monitors, pc, good cars, i live in rent car and so happy that i bought poco f5 and games goes good, screen is good, and of course it is no so laggy like my previous xiaomi redmi 10c, or iphone 7 that already not charging. it is what i use in my rent old, with issues, toyota prius that i live in. i think if i have appartment to live to have pc and monitor would be much easier to achieve.
First time viewer your really cute :) but sadly refresh rate can't fix my internet speed some of us still have just crappy internet. Dail up is still a thing.
Have we moved from the CPU megahertz wars to the Monitor Hertz wars now. How about companies just take a breather with refresh rates and bring the prices down first. When you’re paying $2000 for a 32” 4K oled monitor @240hz you know the industry is at war with itself.
I want to play 3A games, but I also really enjoy playing CS2. However, for CS2, I need a resolution of 1280 * 960 with 16:9 stretching. If I buy this monitor and switch to 24 inch mode, can it support this resolution and stretch?
I checked all possible youtubers on those monitors and my conclusion is that light ghosting is less important compared to refresh rate for Esports. At the moment Alienware dropped 500hz monitors price almost double so for the price kind of Alienware is the best. If you dont care paying almost double i would go for 540hz asus. Soon we'll get zowie for around 600usd as it makes zowie n1 pick for eSports. If asus drops price on their 540hz monitor i would go for Asus. G-sync module and overall look. I think asus will be a king for a while
Very well worth for both, what exactly did you mean by you wouldn’t use it for editing though? Could you elaborate on that please I’m new to editing gameplay and I need all you’re input since I consider you an expert at it, thank you for this great review I love all you’re content man, really great value no nonsense.
I'm very interested in this. At home I've given up multiple monitors because I prefer having one nice monitor directly in front of me. This seems to be exactly the type of thing I've been looking for. 4K for 4K content but 1080P for esports.
I'm absolutely going to get one of the 240hz oled monitors. I probably won't get this 480hz dual mode, I really don't see myself using the 1080 mode at all, but the oled and high refresh rate upgrade from my current 4k monitor is going to make an enormous difference.
(Asking a question but giving context) I was looking at this monitor but it’s 32 inches a bit too big . I play action combat games . BDO, darktide , granblue relink , monster hunter . I think the monitor being oled is amazing . I want to take advantage of the high refresh rates . So I would never use the 4K mode since I prefer 1440 p and already have a decent 1440p monitor . What monitor would yall suggest ? To be clear I want a high refresh rate 1080p monitor but I’m worried that TN panel colors may seem “washed” compared to oled.
This is the future IMO, would love to see this on more monitors. I also hope companies start offering these premium panels in 2 versions 1 with anti glare coating and 1 with glossy that way people can get the model that best fits their environment and those of us who have controlled lighting don't have to compromise with that grainy icky coating... My dream monitor is probably a 34" or 39" oled 5120x2160 240hz ultrawide (which is on its way in a year or 2) but with 1440p 480+hz toggle and glossy screen. The screen being anti glare matte and the fact that it has to drop to 1080 to do 480hz when they have 1440p 480hz is kind of lame and the only reason I haven't preordered
Aside from impressive specs, I really love the overall aesthetic of it. The chin bar is thin, no any visible branding, no "gaming" nonsense(excluding a little bit at the back), just plain black screen with slim frame. I wish all monitor was built like this.
Damn that´s uselesse. 4k at 240Hz is simply way too much to compensate. And 1080p at 480Hz i´m sorry to insult but nobody will see a difference between 144Hz and 240Hz and never the less, most games can´t even go up to 480fps so it´s rather useless to have that much of a refresh rate. And for 1,400$ i can buy an entire Pc. So thats a stupid monitor to buy in my opinion
I just can't wait to dual wield these babies in my setup, waiting a good 6-8 months, wouldn't ever buy anything that is a brand new model right off the rip, price will drop a couple hundred and get to not be a guinea pig for the initial growing pains, heh. But... very excited for this one, nonetheless.
Hey optimum, you should do a review/comparison with the wooting about the new atk68, everybody talks about it, it's 50€ cheaper and seems to have rthe same perfs
people are we ever stopping this bullshit ? im barely at 120 hz and now 480hz you offing kidding me ? WTF ever happened to gaming ? this is no longer gaming anymore, its "catch up"..
Welp guess I'm gonna have to buy this OLED if I do buy one. Closest thing it seems we'll get to a 1080p OLED monitor. I like the unexpected twist of also being a 4k monitor. Wasn't ever big on 4k gaming. But this monitor would for sure change that for more casual games.

240hz is nearly 4ms per frame and 2ms st 480hz.
2ms.imput latency is negligible, so the only real benefit might be smoothness. Do you really feel it?
I'm gonna be curious for a while.

Thanks for the suggestions in advance.
